Probably Admiral Nelson needs no introduction – the man who stole our (Danish) navy in 1807 😉 Thanks to him we have an awful lot of oak trees. As oak is the best wood for sailing ships and it takes a while for oak trees to grow to a decent size, the ones that were planted to replace our lost navy are now ready to be made into boats.
