I do a lot of blind café hopping. I have an errand, look at maps.google for nearby café and pick a random one. It can end up in any number of ways. Sometimes parking is plain impossible and I can’t stop. Sometimes it was really a restaurant and the espresso is awful. Sometimes I end up outside a roastery instead. This is from one such blind café hopping. The awesome dog turned out to belong the pizza place around the corner.

It felt magical to study these flower tableau with traffic and people rushing by.
I haven’t been able to find out who the artist was that decorated the green spots along the street.
The Magnificent Mile is the main shopping street in the Chicago. I hadn’t expected to find an overgrown garden theme there.
I was lost (looking for the train) but then I found! (the famous Chicago theatre when I looked up)
