One last look of the walls of Tallinn. I would love to come back for a three day visit. We weren’t half finished with all we wanted to see with just a day trip.

The café with the lovely ceiling had this contraption in the window. At first I thought, “why a model of a ferris wheel?” But look closer and it’s made with spoons and cups.

Back down from the castle hill, we were hot and tired. We spent the rest of our time in Tallinn strolling from one stop to another which, contrary to Helsinki, cost little. Here is the ceiling of a lovely old patisserie.

People familiar with Denmark might recognize the flag in the background. The story is it fell from the sky once the Danes were trying to conquer Tallinn. Now there is a nice monument at the castle in Tallinn to commemorate the event. Time heals all wounds…
