I often find it hard to make pictures in the winter because of the lack of light and the often grey sky. Sometimes it works out well, though.

The image yesterday caused me to repost this 2012 image from the same location. I apologize for not having the time to dig it out and edit it from scratch – my fingers are itching, though.
Anyway, same location in Esbjerg, Man at Sea by Svend Wiig Hansen looking out over the Nordic Sea. But a different season. This was taken in the summer while the other was close to the shortest day of the year.

“You as a child”
A last example of submission to Lenscratch‘ open on-line exhibitions – one image per person and all gets shown. The theme here was ‘you as a child’. I chose the image ‘Still Mommy’s Little Girl’ form my self portrait series.
I took a current head shot, cut out so the picture of me around age three could be placed in the newer photo and re-photographed.
Someone you love
I’ve chosen this image for the open Valentine’s exhibition on Lenscratch. It was originally in color as I rarely work with B&W. But chance made me rework the image and I feel it became even stronger. It’s one of my favorite images from all of last year.
Eyes closed
I need to make time to edit some more images. In the meantime I’m browsing through older files to see what comes up. This image was shown in Lenscratch on-line exhibition, Eyes Shut.
