Just one more ‘cat’ – a shy snow leopard. It had a lot more privacy than the tigers and had us running back and forth between the window panels at either end of it’s living quarters, trying to catch a glimpse of it.

Dublin Zoo 2, Ireland 2012
One of the things I loved about the Dublin Zoo was how close you can get to some of the bigger cats. There were large windows areas that brought nose to nose with the tigers – a unique experience.
Ireland, here we come!
If you follow this blog, you’re about to embark on a trip to Ireland, more specifically to Dublin and Galway. I went there with my family during the fall break and though it was often a matter of point and shoot and hurry after the others, I did manage to bring back quite a collection of worthwhile pictures.
