Did you know the pope once resided in Avignon? I didn’t when I came across the papal residence there. Admittedly it was a while ago, 1309 t0 1377.

Sights of Rome
For once I’ll explain before showing images and for once I’ll share several images at once. It’s the second day of teleporting from San Francisco to Rome (and from summer to late fall). Below are some of the sights of Rome – or rather an expressionistic interpretation called, “I’m tired! I don’t want to walk anymore!”
