The mall is called Fields – kind of strange with an English name in Denmark. It opened nine years ago. They tried to pay attention to detail and in general I would say it’s a succes.

After I was done shooting garden gnoms (I love that sentence…) I walked around the almost empty mall with my camera. I found enough to photograph to remind me to come back another day before the shops open.
Lattice 4, Ireland 2012
Isn’t this just pretty?
Yesterdays lattice was from… St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on Grafton Street. If you’ve looked beyond the shops I’m sure you could recognize it. We didn’t spend much time. Most of all we needed a public restroom. But the lattice was pretty and I found the whole design of the mall light, inviting, and decorative. It’s a fun idea to go Victorian rather than modern. I would not have guessed that it was built in the ’80.
