This phone hung on the wall by the bar in The Spanish Arch in Galway. I don’t know if it still works. In any case I dragged my kids out of their seats to show them what a telephone looked like when I was a kid. And they didn’t even appricaite it!
And another shot of my all time favorite faded red stools… This is the reason why I don’t feel drawn to working in black and white. I’m missing a dimension if I do.
The reception is empty too. I wonder if this place exists if no one is here. Is it just an illusion?

The tables are all set, but where is everybody?
This post is the first in a series of shots I took in the pub/restaurant The Spanish Arch in Galway. Having several function, including a hotel as well, it was very diverse. Maybe that was why I found it so inspiring. As you will see I certainly took at lot of pictures. Something about the mood and I’m very happy with the way I captured it.
First one: My family diffusely reflected in the mirror – a commercial for Danish beer 🙂
