Chicago was an endless source of surprising and fun murals. These are on the wall of the Star lounge Coffee Bar.
The Star Lounge in the Ukrainian Village has some very spaced out, very fun small murals on the house that clearly used to be a home – a classic two story Chicago home with barely enough room between two houses to walk through.
The Star Lounge was my favorite hangout place when i was staying in East Garfield Park in 2019. Many pictures coming up 🙂
Now, take a look at those signs on the side of the shop to discover, as the owner told me, that Tommy’s started out as a diner and as his collection of guitars grew, he put them up at the diner and as the collection continued to grow, the diner became a shop.
I want one!! But I didn’t have room in my luggage. Some day…
Where else but in Chicago? 🙂
Pretty guitars in a row.
Yes! Tommy’s Guitar and Trading Post also has guitars!
I would not ever turn my back on that thing!
There are many relics here from old days…
