This was a great place to sit! It’s right inside the door with a full view of the bar and the rest of the downstairs seating but also withdrawn a bit. Obviously it was mostly taken 🙂
The Star Lounge in the Ukrainian Village has some very spaced out, very fun small murals on the house that clearly used to be a home – a classic two story Chicago home with barely enough room between two houses to walk through.
Now, take a look at those signs on the side of the shop to discover, as the owner told me, that Tommy’s started out as a diner and as his collection of guitars grew, he put them up at the diner and as the collection continued to grow, the diner became a shop.
