The day after, 2013
The day following New Years Eve I was as always blissfully free of hangovers. Instead I hit the streets with my camera to take pictures of the discarded fireworks before it got cleared away. If you want to see what I caught in the rain, check the series on my portfolio.

Fireworks on New Year’s Eve is very important to the Danes. Almost everyone buy their own and light it. Frankly I don’t quite see what the fuzz is about but my kids do!

Okay, so one of the reasons why I chose an impressionistic account of my New Year’s Eve is that it was a very quiet affair. No party shots available here – just as I like it. And it presented me with the much interesting challange of comunicating the mood of the evening. I guess we did have a party 🙂
