First time I drove on a street running under the elevated rail, I cried out, “it’s like Blues Brothers!” May have had the same reaction the first time I saw ‘Cook County’ on a sign.

More details…

Detail from the elevated rail. What’s not to love about nuts and bolts?

Another way of viewing the mural.

There was this very cool mural right down the back alley too.

Ehh… Maybe consider digging down more wires? Like in other Western countries 🙂

Between Wicker Park and N Milwaukee Ave runs an alley that made me go, “I need my camera!!” The tracks here are part of the Chicago network of public transportation.

There are a couple of reasons why I don’t show recognizable people in my images. First of all, they are much harder to control than inanimate objects 🙂 And secondly, there are any number of rules for how I can use the images if there are people in them, depending on the country the images are published in. So I should either get a signed statement from each person in any image that it is okay to use it or leave them out.
