Until last week I had barely done any photography at all in 4 years. Starting up again was a conscious decision rather than something spontaneous. But sometimes just doing it works.

People who decorated these spaces will often find the details overlooked by the many people coming and going. I try to focus on the details because that is what I see.

Many districts in Chicago are littered with cafés that all have a very personal expression. It is going to be hard to choose.

Looks like it is finally time for me to get shooting and posting again. This is the concept: I’ll be targeting mostly coffee shops, all in Chicago, adding a sprinkle of what else catches my attention. One photo posted pr. day and the first shot of any shop will be from the outside.
