Beech is the national tree in Denmark – here in the form of a hedge with the Renaissance castle, Rosenborg, in the background.
I’ve begun to appriciate fall and winter more since I began to photograph it.
I love this shot – the texture and the colors. Even though I adore spring, I feel grateful the leaves fall off allowing us to focus on the little details we otherwise miss.
In few months these buds will be turning green…
I wonder what I’m going to do in the spring. I find wilted leaves and muted colors so inspiring.
