This is a rerun. I posted this image last year as well but, seriously, how many were watching 🙂 It was because of this image I was by Amager Beach in dusk as I was determined to capture the windmills from this angle. After several attempts that just weren’t right, I decided to try the ‘Golden Hour’. Good idea – especially if my zoom had been just a little bit longer…
There is one place on Refshaleøen, where you can sneak out and walk along a pier that hosts a row of windmills. Those suckers are big!
Denmark is quite famous for both making and using windmills. Here is the first of two shots of off-shore windmills close to where I live.
Okay, there’s just no way I can post regularly on this blog while on vacation so I’m giving official notice here that I’ll be back on-line with lots of more daily photos at the beginning of August.
