Even the building could not be entered at this point of the renovation, quite a bit of it was still standing. Take a long last look at the ceiling. Today it no longer exists.

Earlier this year I posted images from the abandoned building on Amagerbrogade that was due to be renovated. All the first images were from my first sessions where I spent time in the empty building – empty of pretty much everything except I did find quite a few details to photograph. The beech is the national tree in Denmark. I know nothing finer than the bright green colour of the newly hatched leaves. Supposedly you can even eat them. You can certainly pet them as they are ever so soft and covered in a thin layer of ‘hair’ before they mature.

You know, I like spring better than summer. I love the promise of things to come, of days being warm and not hot – and of hoping for sunny days rather than rainy days! This is, after all, Denmark with our costal climate…
