These tress were probably not on the Palatine Hill when Emperor Augustus and Livia lived there, removed from the stifling heat of the forum itself. But surely there were some like them at that time.

Still featuring images from a foggy and frosty morning around Amager Beach and Kastrup Marina.
Followers of this blog know I find it hard to let go of colour. But I decided to play a bit with the rest of this series. This image I have created in Black/white by simply converting it to that in Lightroom and adjust pretty much as usual.

On a fortunate morning in February, there was frost on the ground and fog in the air. I couldn’t get the kids to school fast enough, threw my camera in my car, and headed straight for the beach. I was hoping the fog would hold and it did. This is from the lawn behind the marina by the beach. The round doughnut looking things are orange benches.
